How do I change my belt model #116?

How do I change my belt on my Kenmore model 116 vacuum cleaner? For some reason it keeps breaking on me.

There is 2 taps ( that say BELT CHANGE) on top of your 116 that slide out and they will
release the top cover of the VAC.
from there you will have the and bottom of the vac open so I
would thing you could just slide the belt off in the loosest setting. & then put or slide a new belt on and away you go.
