how do i remove control panel of my cannon pearl duo 1998 model 10248g?

Hi Nelson,

I guess one (or more) of the cooker knobs have broken off, leaving the retaining clip in place, and almost inaccessible - this is a common problem with this model.

I use a very thin pair of thin-nose pliers (bought from Maplins) to get to the clip, which has worked so far. Cannon do sell replacement knobs, but are a bit expensive when they add service & postage! Hence, I tend to buy a number at a time.

The bottom oven door handle is now starting to crack (well, it is thin plastic), and the "specially hardened" paint is coming off the facia.
