how can i put my scanner onto my computer with out the disc?

Shut down your computer and then plug in your scanner power supply and the scanner into the computer and see if windows will use plug & play to install it, or give you an option to select your scanner from it's menu of drivers. If not, go to the website for visionair and see if you can download the drivers and any software for the scanner that is available.

Hello, well there is another way. You'll need to be connected to the internet whilst installing the scanner, go to check internet for drivers when asked, then it should find one, but if you have the same problem what i had, which was it didn't find one, then you'll have to go on the visioneer onetouch 8700 website, they're bound to have the driver for it. in my case it was an epson, and they had the driver. hope you sort it :-)
