It is a 'pantspresser valet' model8402.You insert your pants,and then turn a knob for the number of minutes you wish to press.The dial would then turn slowly,as heat would do the pressing.The problem:the dial now turns immediately back to zero,and no heat comes out.Perhaps this small motor can hopefully be repaired or replaced somewhere in Toronto.It was manufactured by Arrow Sourcing Ltd.
I have the same model. Similar problem. Will just wire it up through an external timer after bypassing the timer. If you can't do this safely, suggest you get a local electrician to do it for you.
