HOW CAN I FIX MY ICEMAKER? KITCHENAID SUPERBA MAKE: WPL, MODEL #KSRG25FKBT?

There was ice cubes caught in the "fingers" of the ice maker, I
released them, but behind the "fingers" I can feel solid frozen ice. Can I remove the body of the ice maker to thaw that ice and hopefully that is all the problem. Please advise, Thanks!!!

You can remove the icemaker fairly easily. Here's the service manual section:

I'd advise you let the freezer warm up to room temperature before trying so the plastic parts won't be as brittle.

However, if you turn the freezer off, you could just use some warm water, pour it into the ice maker, and then drain it with a sponge. Repeat as needed. If that's all that's wrong, you're ready to go!

Check web site repairclinic.com, they are the best so far. But it is still hard to determine the exact problem but u can e-mail their repair guru and get an answer in 2 days. Maybe we should be complaining to the co. lots are having the same problem sounds like a defect issue to me. Mine is only 2 years old, I took the icemaker apart but don't see a problem. Now the fridge isn't cooling properly. Check ur water lines to make sure they aren't clogged w/ice. Be sure to not force the ejector blades (fingers) when working directly w/icemaker u will damage the module. Good Luck
