why does the caller display not work on my dect122 philps telephone?
I have entered the required numbers into my phone book but when I receive a call from an entered number I do not get a display of the caller it comes up as unknown caller.
The last answer was not quite right because if Caller ID is working correctly, it will show the telephone number of the caller even if they are not in your book. It sounds to me as though you do not have Caller ID feature provisioned your line by your phone company. You need to call them.

Are you using the full area code (starting with 0) for each number in your phone book? It won't recognise it otherwise.
