how can i fix my hotpoint wt740p?

recently the street i live in had a power surge.from then on there as been no power to the washer .no lights or anything comes on.checked the module,also checked the component were the wire goes into the washes ,every thing was fine on both.please advise on other probable causes.

You may have power going into the machine itself but you may also have an antisurge fuse just after the wires enter the machine, it will be a very small fuse indeed, have a check. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE MACHINE WHILST IT IS PLUGGED IN.
