where can i get my shark s505uk repaired or replaced?

It is now 2009 and I was wondering if anyone has any answers to the for John who wrote the original question? I too would like to know where I can get my Shark Steam Cleaner repaired?

Hi,
I also have a shark steam cleaner, I have called customer services where I purchased it, as mine is out of warranty I have been told to take it to a local appliance repair centre and they have some parts at their warehouse. I have yet to find someone who knows this item and are prepared to have a look!! Most say it will cost almost as much as a new one. I will update you if I find out any more.
