How can I fix a Hotpoint Aquarius 1200?
When put on it fills and empties when dial is turned manually but no sign of the drum rotating or wanting to spin. when empty spin works fine.Any help will be appreciated.

You need new motor brushes i'm afraid, very common problem with hotpoint machines once they reach around 5 years old. fortuantly you can buy replacement sets for around £5 - £10 and are fairly easy to fit although an engineer will probably charge around £49 all inclusive
