What's wrong with my standard Thomson Sky box?

Thanks for persisting T. The RF out sends a signal to the other teles and the selected programme is viewable. However the remote will not react with the magic eyes for some reason. This problem is not experienced with the old box. Also as stated in the original Q the set top buttons refuse to work although the remote operates the box in receivable distance. Any more views? I'm flummoxed!

I assume that you mean that you HAVE switched on the power to RF2 and the magic eye still doesn't work?

T-that's not the answer. I am already operating an old sky box with the magic eyes successfully. Thanks for you reply anyway!

For tht magic eye to work, you need to switch on the power to the RF2 out port. How to has been posted umpteen times.
