Mend Neff Broken Cooker Replace

Bulb has broken ?

My bulb in my neff oven needed replaced. I removed cover and then the bulb but the glass part came off in my hand and the mental part still screwed into oven. I have tried to remove it but no joy. Any suggestions?

Isolate the oven from the mains.

Push the handle of a wooden spoon down a finger of a rubber glove, then press the end firmly into what remains of the metal ferrule of the bulb and turn anti-clockwise. It should come out easily.

First turn off the power...

Then ram something into the centre of what remains of the bulb and turn it anticlockwise - last time this happened to me I used a pair of pointed nose pliers but forgot to turn off the power - make sure you don't do that...
