Rangemaster toledo grill light on permanently?

Hi my my ovens tripped out a couple of times recently on the circuit breaker in the garage which is unusual.
when i reset the trip switch last time the grill light is now permanently on although the grill element has not turned on.
the grill also appears to work normally.
my question is do i need a new controller switch for the grill? cheers, Ben
