How to input a code for my renault scenic radio?

I have the code for a philips radio in my renault scenic, how do I input it? I've tried everything but nothing seems to work.

Please help I hate not having music!!!

as in the previous for w reg models on but instead of the mute button use the button at the bottom of the remote (steering wheel ) audio controller. i think its the source button, make sure when the full code is in you press this button finally for about 2 secs.

You enter the code by turning the thumb wheel on the back of the steering column remote control behind the volume buttons. When you have entered the correct first number shown on the dashboard display press the mute button between the volume buttons on the remote. The next number should come up and so on. Finally press the mute button for at least 2 seconds.
