How can I unjam Loppers?

I have an old Lopper that has a bolt for the screw. When I was cutting some branches, it started getting a little tight to cut, so I used WD-40 and that is what caused my loppers to jam. Are there any solutions I can use to unjam the Loppers? Please advise. Thank you.
