Electro, if you are here to give advise, make sure you know what you are talking about first will you.

"Dumb codes, 12345 ......" etc

The Accenta 8 mini can only have a 4 digit code.

Connected to a Central Station? Don't you mean an ARC, the CS name was done away with ages ago.

Any way, why contact them, they are not going to have an access code for an alarm system, it's called security.

Hope you're not in the business because you are not very security aware are you?

I'll stop here before I say something that would be incorrect in a public area.

"try some dumb codes"?,

So you've not heard of a little software program called a "code tamper"??.nineteen incorrect user code attempts will cause a full alarm condition.

So in short you have nineteen four digit fumbles to guess it or whole hell will break loose :),

Even the crappy panels have safeguards.

Ps have your checkbook ready when it sounds off and you are forced to call out a local engineer (not cheap).Or you could do the sensible thing(if you own the house) and get a pro out to start with.

I don't think that there is any "master", or "overide" code. The actual code was probably set by the former occupents.

Try some dumb codes like 12345, 123456, 1234567, 111111, 22222, ...

If there is a connection to some central station, try communicating with them, tell them that the former occupents left without giving you the required code. Check for some phone number on the central box.

If you can't find a code like that, you probably will have to remove that alarm system and get your own.
