HOW CAN I CHANGE A WASHER IN A FLICK MIX. IT IS DRIPPING THROUGH THE SPOUT. THERE DOES NOT SEEM ANY WAY TO GET THE TOP OFF.DOES IT NEED A NORMAL TAP WASHER OR A SPECIAL FLICK MIX ONE.IT IS A KITCHEN SINK HOT AND COLD MIXER,THE BRAND NAME IS "HAMA".
we bought a flick mixer and every time we get a leaky tap, we have to replace the cartridges. At $100 for cartridges (hot and cold) we've decided to give the mixer the flick. In the long run it's better to get normal taps using the old style washers.

I can't help with the washer, but ours was sticking - not smooth to turn on & off. I rung the local h/ware and a lady told me to try come vegie oil on the top - take handle off first, re first answer. It works well now.

If there is a blue/red marker indicating hot and cold directions this is probably a puch in insert which hodes a hole that will allow you to undo a fixing to remove the top of the tap. You may not be able to get a washer but depends on the tap. Take it apart and see. Remember to swirtch the water off though.
