mercedes 200 e class abs light on & poor starting when cold?

i have a 1991 merc 200 e & its a nightmare to start when cold,it was fine when the weather was warm.also the abs light has come on.the funny thing is it was the same time that the abs light came on that the starting trouble started.does anyone know if theres a fuse or relay that is for both the abs & cold start valve on these.if so where is it located?

your fault is voltage protection relay.located behind the battery.there is a fuse in it.check the fuse first,if thats ok it the relay itself that the fuse sits in.their about £60 from merc.its definitly the problem.the battery wont cause this like bg said,thats a load of b**locks.
