How can we mend our washing machine when the drum goes round it is very stiff and grates. When it spins it whines and makes a lot of noise. Its a hotpoint aquarus WF440 1400 spine

your bearings have gone and will need replaceing, not an easy job, but can be done although if doing it yourself, once the bearing are out check the spindle for score marks. if badly scored the new bearings will not last long
