i have a side by side refrigerator model 106 .. my trouble is i can't get it to make any ice cubes, i get water out of the front spout ok, i also get it to crush ice and sent cubes out the front spout if i add my own ice in the ice holder but it won't make it's own ice cubes. what might be wrong is there something i can trouble shoot myself ??? not sure what to check first hope you can tell me ... thanks (roger)
Locate the water fill tube on the back of the freezer at the top where it enters the freezer compartment... Disassemble and check to see if the fill tube going into the ice maker reservoir is iced up.. Remove any ice with hair dryer... If this happens again you may need to replace the water inlet valve...
