How to finalise after a disc removal on Panasonic DMR=EZ47VEB?
I recorded a film (1st time) on SP, edited out the ads, removed the disc. Tried to play disc on Mac 10.3 (it needed finalising. Later re-inserted disc in recorder to finalise. The finalise option doesn't appear. so cannot finalise. {DVD=RAM used)
I answered my own question eventually: The DVD-RAM discs (3) supplied with the machine are not designed to be finalised - and cannot be finalised, but they may or may not play on other equipment. I have bought DVD-RW discs since, which are also editable, and can be finalised, and will play on my computer and on my other dvd player. Hope this information is useful. AG.

I think you'll find if you recorded on a DVD Ram disc it will not require finalising It is only the DVD-r disc which requires finalising and this is done under disc management.
