Ice maker tray is not filling with water. Kenmore Coldspot 7762790?

I have a Kenmore Coldspot Model 7762790. The problem is very recent. We discovered the icemaker was not making any more ice. the armiture is down and has been working fine until recently discovered the ice bin empty. Evidently the ice tray is not getting any water. The water supply is fine. The water dispenser on the door is working properly. The ice maker appears to be going through the motions of dispensing the ice (that isn't there). I suspect it may be some sensor or relay that is not working to dispense the water when the tray is empty. Which relay or sensor is it and where is it? can that be replaced?

First inspect the water line that enters the rear of the freezer compartment, disassemble this tube and shine a light from outside to inside and see if this area is frozen up.. If so remove ice with hair dryer... If condition happens again you may have to replace the water inlet valve, searspartsdirect can locate a replacement... Over time sediment can buildup in this valve and allow water to seep thru, hence it freezing as it slowly enters the freezer compartment on its way to the icemaker...
