engine management light on 2001 vauxhall vectra?

I'd take issue with that. After new lambda sensors, a new ECU and a lot of cash my light is still on. My local VX dealership in Camberley have been polite but utterly hopeless and evidently do not have a clue how to deal with the problem.

it must have been the new exhaust i had fitted i unhooked the batt for 15 mins reconnected it and the light has not come back on "touch wood".

The only thing you can do really is take it to your vauxhall garage and they will plug it into Tech 2 (VX diagnostic computer) and it will then come up with fault codes whic they will then find out what the codes mean tel you what is wrong with it and ask if you want it fixed
