How can i stop my car alarm after new battery has been fitted to VW Polo?
I had a new battery put into my P reg VW Polo today but the car alarm wont stop going off. The car parts shop that fitted it couldnt fix it and i had to drive home with the alarm and hazards going off then disconnect it at home. How can i fix this? They said it was a factory fitted alarm with extras someone has added on..
I'm going to guess that this problem is all sorted now - but could just be a matter of having to repair the fob with your car. The way I did this was to press and hold the fob button for about 20seconds and that reset the coding! Hope it works for you.
