I have an HP Pavillion dv5000?

when i started it up i recieved the message:
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-061: Media test failure, check cable

PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM

I think this is a prob with the harddrive. If it is is there anyway i can recover pics and stuff off of my harddrive after it crashes?

you need to go into your system set up & change your network connection to pxe off. aswell check the boot order should be floppy a ,hard disk c, cd rom D:.this may sort it out. if not go to comma
