Find the manual, which should show how the fan was installed and should give someone reasonably competent a clue how to remove it
!!!SWITCH OFF THE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY !!!
Remove the cover and look at the fixings and the wiring (noting which wire goes where. There will probably be a red or brown Live. A black or blue Neutral and, if the fan has some kind of run-on timer, possibly a wire with a red sleeve that's the Switched Live.
Review the new fan instructions. Understand how the new fan mounts and how the electrical connections match the old fan.
Now stop and think: DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT?
If the answer is "No" or "well, I think so" then ***STOP*** and ask someone competent to help
Working one step at a time, disconnect the wiring, making notes.
Demount the fan
Following instructions in the new fan, mount that and connect it.
Give yourself plenty of time
Make sure there is someone you can ask if you do get stuck
Never trust memory. Make written notes.
