Mend Philips 2533 Sides Help Button

I have a Philips 2533 2-slice toaster. It won't toast both sides. Help!?

After toasting bagels, the button worked to toast only the one side (inner coils). Now, the toaster will not revert back to using the outer coils to toast both sides. Please help; or should I just buy another type of toaster? It is a Philips 2-slice toaster, I believe model 2533. It has not been dropped or damaged otherwise.

Oh, and Consumer Reports rates a $15 dollar Proctor Silex model as a Best Buy. I may just get one of those and then see if I can get the Philips fixed

Mine just stopped working too...just this week. I think we're out of luck. they don't make that toaster anymore and I reaslly liked it. A small appliance shop may help but it may be more trouble than it's worth
