how can i fix my verticle blinds?

having taken down the blinds to clean them, I have put them back and now they draw across but i can't get them to turn so that they can let the light in - they are made by butterfly blinds

i want to cut the slats in half to save money and to use them on separate windows. how do i put the oblong hole in the bottom half

take the slats off / check that all the hooks in the rail are all ok as sometimes one might be pushed up in to the track if so pull it out / then get your tilt cord and turn them till it wont turn no more give it another pull you should hear 2/3 clicks then turn control and do it againe

Thats easy, take them off the hooks again, then turn the tilt chain fully one way, then back the other way, then back halfway, now re-hang the blinds in the open position, Bingo!!
