I have a Potterton netaheat electronic, a honeywell ST699B programmer and honeywell room stat. The boiler fires up no matter what the setting of the programmer (even in the off position) or the room stat and can only be turned off at the mains. What is the problem?
Could it be the Frost STAT ?? That switches the boiler on in the event of severe frost to stop pipes bursting etc...

Hey I got the same problem too, with my Gloworm Ultimate, it just won't shut off even with the Termostat off and the Programmer off, been ok for years PLEASE HELP !!!

I have now changed the programmer and the problem remains. It can't be wired incorrectly as it has been working ok for years

Sounds like either the programmer is fecked, or wired incorrectly, either at the clock or internally in the boiler.
