i have the same prob,my indesit gas oven lights fine but when i release the gas button after 10 secs it goes out/wont stay on ...please help,tell me what to do.
Probably the thermocouple is defect. This thermocouple ensures you don't have a gasflow into your oven without the gas burning, so if it is defect the safety system shuts the gas off.
