how do i repair my electric window on my renault scenic?
My passenger door window is not working as it looks to have
fallen down due to wire cable come loose and i do not know how
to reset the cable. renault scenic 2004 model
I had the Window regulator go on my 2000X scenic - made an awful racket and eventually jammed. In fact getting the livery panel off is relatively simple - its studded into the door and has a few screws to remove/switches to ease out. I'm not a very confident car repairer but the thought of £400 at a local garage sent me to ebay where I got the part for £65 and did the job in 2 hours.

Just had a similar problem myself on my 2000 W reg scenic on the drivers door. Having trouble getting the door panel off, but from what I can tell there's a metal wire that appears to have snapped and apparently this is fairly common. There is someone on ebay selling repair kits, together with instructions on how to fix the problem if this what's happened to yours.
