how can i disconnect trafficmaster in citroen xantia?

On my Citroen C5 the TrafficMaster module is under the dashboard behind the glovebox. If your is in the same location then remove the glovebox and feel up under the dash and it is clipped on a metal arm. I disabled mine by cutting the second wire adjacent to the green wire on the connector plug. This was the 12v supply to the unit. Check whether it becomes live via the ignition and then just cut and isolate the 2 ends so if anyone wants it in the future.
