Mend Hotpoint Red Coming Turn

How to stop red warning light coming on, on fridge freezer?

Sometimes red warning light comes on to tell me freezer is on high temp. I turn it colder and eventually it goes off but after a while the light comes back on again. I have never had to do this before and has always been at the same setting. My fridge freezer is a hotpoint and model no. is FFA70

Hi.
Try this.
Inside the freezer compartment there is a panel held on by four star head screws, turn the power off and take this panel off.
The freezer is probably full of ice which also may be surrounding the thermostat.
Very carefully remove all this ice including the ice in the drain hole.
This should sort it.
