Unplug the vac. Remove the hose by twisting it off where it enters the vac. Turn it over. There are two tabs that you need to flex to remove the brush cover. They are marked with an arrow. Insert a screwdriver to pull them down and pop the cover off. CAREFUL: Note the spring that is connected to the height-adjustable wheels. If it pops off (it will), you'll have to figure out how to put it back on. Good luck. Next, there are 4 pry points between the bottom and the cover. They are marked by 4 arrows on the bottom pointing toward the sides. Use a screwdriver to pry the cover off at those 4 points. You can then replace the belt. Be sure to clean the motor screen next to the lamp while you're at it.
