how can I connect my laptop to wireless broadband?
I have an Acer laptop and a desk top PC (which is fine). My broadband is supplied by Sky. When I try to connect to the internet using the laptop via the wireless connection it always shows up as having a weak signal or doesn't connect at all. The router is made by Netgear and the laptop's using a Belkin network card. I had the same problem when I was with another broadband supplier using different equipment.

I have an Acer too and have the same problems with 3 broadband. Try tidying your work up and/or working in a different part of the building. 3 are going turbo in April, I'm hoping this will help me.I also have the modem on an extension to keep it away from my other electrical stuff.
