How do I know what fuses to use in household appliances?

I would like to put the right rated fuse in each household appliance. Currently they all have 13 amp fuses

Hi Ron, if you know the wattage of the appliance ie 800watts angle grinder divide the wattage by 240 (mains voltage) this will give you the current in this case 3.333 amps so you should use a 5 amp fuse
