Mend Kenmore 86 Sewing Machine Foot Pedal Replacement

Where can I buy an electronic foot pedal or a rheostat foot pedal ?

I have a Kenmore Stylist 86....a 1959 sewing machine. The only thing wrong with it is that it needs another foot pedal. There is a man here in town where I live but he doesn't guarantee to have one to work as he does not deal with Kenmore. Any info you have would be fabulous!

Hi! it's me again with the 1959 Kenmore Stylist 86. I got it fixed by purchasing a new pedal for it. I could not find how to delete the question or I would not have posted this. Thank you.
