access to radio screen using remote control unit?

Having exhausted all options I was finally able to pinpoint the problem to the remote control unit by getting another car owner with satnav to try his remote on my car and it worked. Peugeot quoted me €240 for a replacement remote control which of course was prohibitive. I dismantled my remote control and after exhaustive tests discovered that one of the spring loaded buttons was stuck in the depressed position thus prohibiting any further use of the unit and at the same time consuming battery power.A small spray of WD40 and continuous pressing soon released this button and now everything is operating fine.
