how do i tighten alternator drive belt on 2003 peugeot 206 sw 1.4 hdi diesel.

Use a 15mm socket or spanner onto the centre of the automatic tensioner.
Push down (clockwise) which will then rotate the tensioner backwards and enable you to remove and replace the old belt.

You dont, it has an automatic tensioner fitted. If it is sqealing, probably needs a new belt.
