My hot water sometimes comes through discoloured !?
I have a Potterton statesman oil fired combi boiler. The last couple of days first thing in the morning the water coming out of the hot tap comes out heavily discoloured. It clears if you run tap. Any ideas ?
This really has to be corrosion inside the boiler heat exchanger - its just showing its age. Running the hot tap to rinse things out is all you can really do before eventually replacing it.
