PULL THE CORD TOWARDS THE BACK OF THE MACHINE A TINY BIT AND LET GO. KEEP DOING THAT UNTIL IT REWINDS.
THEN,THE NEXT TIME YOU USE THE VAC...DON'T PULL THE CORD OUT PAST THE YELLOW TAPE!
