ive just done mine today. i was told to tighten them with a standard socket wrench. untill it was "quite" tight. (spin the wheel a bit.. it shud not turn easily) then losen it one turn. then tighten it til its finger tight and then another quater of a turn. an that shud be rite... drive it round a bit.. and repeat the process. they must not be too tight tho! as it will burn them out. also. dont use copper slip!!! it is apparantley the wrong type of grease!! this is what knackerd mine. use bearing grease. a wise man told me this.. been doin em 4 years.. hope i helped.

if it is for front bearings-you wont find it anywhere -they are taper roller and are ajusted untill the slightest end float is felt and then castleated ring fitted and secured with a splitpin. [actual end float is 2 to 5 thou] rear is different and nut is torqued to 210 nm/155 lb/ft.note that n/s nut is left hand thread, and you will need special tool to un-do/tighten [nut is octagonal not hexagonal!
