When my wm64 goes onto full spin it sounds terrible the noise is almost unbearable, its like a banging noise. Have looked inside, the belt is intact and the bearings look in one piece (shaft has no play), i am at a complete lose, any ideas what is and how to fix it?? it is gettting worse....
it could be that the drum support has broken but you will have to remove the drum to find out. you can find insructions on how to do this by doing a search above for hotpoint bearing replacement
