How can I fix my Fisher & Paykel, Smart Drive 708, Washing Machine?

My Fisher & Paykel, Smart Drive 708, ( Model:GW 708U ) Washing Machine makes a continuous (Grrrr...) grinding noise, it's really noticeable in the Spinning cycle. Could this noise come from a worn out bearing? That's what it does sound like and feel like when I try to turn it by hand when the power is off.
How can I check,- change and fix it?

If it's not the drain pump then it's the bearings.

Unless you've done the job before, don't attempt to change the bearings and seal yourself.
