fiat ducato electic radiator fan (diesel)?

fan remains on when ignition turned of. started recently when water tank was low. have to disconnect fan switch as it drains battery.
the fan is coming on from a cold start.

I have exactly the same problem on my 544, have you located the relay, if so, where? I thought it may be caused by the thermal switch on the rad sticking closed.

possibly a relay somewhere that may be stuck closed you may be able to feel which relay when fan has been running a while-it will be warm.
