I am having an issue at the moment with the screen going blank and the light turning orange. I have managed to get a picture back by altering the screen size. Was running 1440x900 (widescreen monitor) and getting blank screen, changed it to 1280x1024 and have a picture. Going to try and reach dgm/hanon to see if it can be resolved.

I gave an earlier solution to a DGM problem by sequence of switching tower and monitor. I since had a problem of fading brilliance to almost black. Gradual decreasing brightness could not be improved by adjustment. Only 'whacking' the top of computer ( crude I know - I am) but it worked and picture was restored. This led me to believe there could be a bad connection/bad joint so I took off the back and searched with jewelers eye piece. I found a crack in a solder joint (socket to to p.c.b.) resoldered it and bingo- brightness restored and no flickering. Sadly after a week of perfection it now has another fault where picture disappears to be replaced with broad, coloured vertical lines. Switch on and off and picture comes back but not for long. Any idea's please. Or do I bin it! Tony.

I had similar problem which was resolved by booting up the computer with monitor switched off waiting 5 mins for boot to complete and only then switching on the monitor. When left idle the monitor sometimes goes blank and won't respond to mouse but switching monitor off then back on - Bingo!

I have a DGM monitor and got the same problem - had to boot up in vga mode to see anything since it kept on saying display out of range and then going into power save mode. I did a long useless trawl on google to find DGM website but to no avail. Finally I found some articles that suggested turning off the monitor by its own switch and powering off the plug, switch on the computer, wait for it to complete the boot then turn on the plug and then the monitor switch. This didnt work for me but the article writer was pretty convincing so I thought Id add it too. Now for my solution, this is going to make you smile. Basically all I had to do is reinstall the video drivers from scratch. I have a nvidia card and nothing I did would fix this apparent "refresh" problem until I booted in vga mode from XP by pressing F8 constantly from bootup and choosing the vga option. Once loaded, browse to your pre-downloaded nvidia or graphics card install file and re-install over the existing driver. This reset something and hey presto everything works fine now. just as a side note, i disconnected my monitor to use its cvable on anotehr monitor and when i reconnected it I had the same problem. Another reinstlal of the video card drivers solved the problem again. Hope this helps someone else out there!

ive got 20 of these around my site and every so often they get no signal and have to leave off for a few hours then they work again, i do have 3 what will not work at all, just the orange light. basicly these are a pile of crap . never known any screens to do this before in all my years in IT. And the hassle of getting them fixed is to much. i certainly wont be buying this brand again

I've also got a few of these monitors with the same problem. Sometimes leaving them unplugged overnight cures it and they work fine the next day. Others have refused to work and have been accepted by Digimate for repair and returned working, (same serial number monitor was returned).

check the connections on both the pc and monitor ends, allso check the pins on the connectors are not bent or damaged if its vga. if they are all ok then your probably looking at a video card issue. - you could test the monitor on another pc if can.
