Ocean Alpha 240 have this combi for 10 years now when switching to hot water only .turn tap on fully ,comb kicks in,then after few minutes turn tap down halve way but the problem it take about 10 minutes to get hot water ,pipe about 10 foot from combi to tap and lagged.....wife complaining not me ..she wants new combi...Help
repair it and it'll come out steaming and whistling but it'll still be......
........." not as hot as it used to be " :-)

sounds like the dhw heat exchanger may be scaled.
Your wife is right, 10 years, go get yourself a nice new high eff. combi!!!!! (but that one can be fixed with a little tlc)
but trust me, she'll still say its not right!
