Mend Janome 6260 Needle Thread Foot

Janome 6260 skipping stitches?

I have tried changing tension, needle, thread, foot to no avail. My machine is drastically skipping stitches, sometimes an inch worth of stitches are skipped. It seems like it could be the timing. How can I fix it? Thank you.
