I do not know for sure but it sounds like it might be freezing off ln the line. when you shut it off it thaws up.Try lowering the temp in the freezer it may pull through. best of all make sure that the unit is getting air. Be sure you have air space all around it at least an inch or so.clean all dust around it. I know you probably allready did that.Just a thought.
