Hi can anyone help, my speedo stopped working so i purchased a new set of clocks (at least that was what i was told) but are not new (have got 67k on them) so vw will not code them to my car as the mileage will be inaccurate. does anyone know how or where i can get hold of the tool or code? thanks
i have same sort of problem clocks stoped working so got new (used) clocks changed them over but the car will not run now it start then cuts out. help me please

hi jo iv got same trouble an av hell of a time getting the right ones.as there are so many different types.(i.e) bosch .v.d.o. motormeter. siemans. so u must check they r right ones before coding cheers

Hi jo, if you search on ebay you will find companies that will come out to you and reset your mileage, its not illegal as long as you can give evidence of previous speedo readings and you are not trying to defraud any buyers of the true mileage
