lg washing machine?

I had this problem Jan 2010 (very late response sorry) with the very same machine. I had given up on the extended warranty as having had problems in 2009 I waited forever for the machine company to come out, so decided to work on an as is basis. The following worked:

Look at the holes from which the water feeds the conditioner tray (I think there were two, one of them is quite large, compared to the holes that feed both soap dispenser trays). Mine was blocked with black gunk, (the same gunk that builds up at the back when you pull the trays up). I sprayed bleach on the holes and then dug out the holes with a chopped up cocktail stick. The problem was with the bigger hole. It was filthy! It is a very fiddly job to do, and the angle is hard to manoeuvre, try and work the sticks to an angle in the hole. Works perfectly now.

On a more positive note, I have to say I do love this machine. Have used every other machine known to man and this one has been going for the last 6+ years. Last year was the first year that things started going wrong.
